olex - Copy Outlook appointments to 30boxes.com

I needed a tool to copy information from my Outlook calendar to 30boxes.com in order to keep 30boxes up to date.

I searched around, but couldn't find anything so I whipped something together in Python. In order to use the script below, you'll need to have a Python interpreter installed on your system. I recommend installing ActiveState Python which is offered as a free download.

Features include:

Specify date ranges
Prompt before copying each entry
Only copy a specified number of appointments
Tag all imported entries with a string
Just mark time as booked, don't send any appointment details

This is unsupported beta software. If it works for you, great. If it kills your dog, you're on your own. I just threw it together in an evening after getting double booked again.

If you need this sort of tool, you can freely use the above python command line version (though I retain all copyright and other interests in the code). If you have problems with the code and have patches, send them to jwilkinsatbitlanddotnet.

If you can't use the Python command line version, I'm considering writing another version with a nice graphical interface, complete with an installer.
